	Customer Reviews: Average Rating: Rating : - I am now disappointed in Trudeau The perspective of a natural healing oriented nurse: Okay...I read his other two books. At first thought he was a little "informmercialish" but applauded him for seeking more natural cures for things. In the other books, he advocates using home remedies before taking the prescription medications prescribed by MDs. This I agree with. He totally bashes the pharmaceutical companies and FDA for all these medications which, according to Trudeau, don't really work and are even dangerous. Now he is advocating the use of HCG, a pregnancy hormone as a way to lose weight???? I would dare bet after years of research we find out that, like long term exposure to all hormones, HCG does more damage than good. Now I am convinved that Trudeau is a sensationalist all about making the most money he can off his books. He is not interested in what is safe, healthy, and what works. Sorry people, this guy is not the man he pretends to be and following the HCG diet could be hazardous to your health. I will stick to the good old fashioned eating more fruits, vegetables and whole grains, decreasing meat and fats. The only way to healthily lose weight.
