This book is so simple, but we would have been lost without it when we had our baby. Both my husband and I lost all short term memory when we brought our newborn home. Seriously! I would ask him the time when I started feeding her and within minutes I could not remember what he had told me. Writing it down in this book was the only way we would remember. For you first-time expecting parents, you would be amazed at what happens to your brain in the first few weeks with a newborn. It turns to mush!

There is a gadget out there that digitally records your feedings, baby's poops and so on, but this nice thing about this book is you can look back and see what you recorded even weeks later. You can't do that with the digital gadget (at least the one that I have seen).
